Joy Ademuyewo, DNP, CRNA, is a practicing CRNA and healthcare founder with firsthand experience on both sides of the locum tenens market. After working clinically across multiple practice settings, she became deeply interested in the business mechanics behind CRNA staffing—how agencies operate, how hospitals buy labor, and why providers are often left out of key decisions that affect their pay and flexibility.

She is the founder of Lokum, a CRNA-led, tech-enabled platform designed to bring more transparency, efficiency, and accountability to provider sourcing and staffing. Through her work, she collaborates with anesthesia groups, hospitals, and staffing partners while advocating for CRNAs to better understand their leverage, value, and role in the broader locums ecosystem. Joy’s work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, workforce economics, and technology—with a focus on helping CRNAs make informed, strategic decisions about their careers.
