I'm Alesia
Most would describe me as a mother, wife, sailor, CRNA and small business owner. But in reality, I am so much more than that. And so are you.
Society may put us in boxes, but that doesn't mean we have to stay there. So let's break free from who we think we have to be and start living the fulfilling life we deserve.
Join me on a journey slightly outside of our comfort zone seeking a more meaningful life as 1099 providers practicing on our own terms with confidence.
MY STORY
The daughter of generational business-men and -women, I grew up thinking that I had only one choice in life. Go to school, get a good job, and build a stable life for myself. I shocked them when I moved aboard a 24 foot sailboat with my boyfriend (now husband) and sailed to the Bahamas for 6 months at a time, twice! I met a CRNA and the die was cast! Laser focus led me to a high-paying CRNA career in my 30s, but for a brief time I lost sense of who I was and what brought me joy as I worked in ORs on call, weekends, and during family gatherings.
After meeting some 1099 mentors, I regained schedule control and diversified my workplaces. I embarked on the ultimate journey of work/ life balance. And I learned that once you step into contolling your workplaces and workdays as a 1099er, there's no going back.

Fortunately for my mentees, I learned the hard way how to avoid costly mistakes as a 1099er. Along the way, I made an art and science of optimizing my workplaces and minimizing my tax burden. I learned how providers are actually valued and I learned negotiation techniques from the best! I'm honored to pass on best cashflow, tax, rate & contract negotiation practices and so much more, to you!
